Discover more from The Imaginists
We love books, and we love music so what a joy it is to discover The Bookshop Band.
They are new to us but you may have already heard of them as they've been going for some time now, having released 13 studio albums!
The English folk singer-songwriter duo consists of Ben Please and Beth Porter, and the band was formed as a result of an artistic collaboration between the musicians and a really good independent bookshop - Mr B's Emporium of Reading Delights.
The Bookshop Band write and perform songs inspired by books and authors from Shakespeare to Philip Pullman including many of the authors they have worked with.
Perhaps they'll perform at a bookshop near you? Find out more: thebookshopband.co.uk

A little update from the publishers...
As regular readers may have gathered, The Imaginists publishing schedule has been a little hit and miss. Carol is busy with writing commissions, mentoring writers, incubating a new novel, and launching a fresh start on her youtube channel. And Mr Fen has been immersed in reading (always a book on the go) and surfing the creative waves. He recently had a piece of art accepted for an exhibition at the Clitheroe Contemporary Arts Festival, and is focusing on his own creative projects.
We’ll keep this publication live for a while with access to the archives but will be placing most of our energy into our ongoing projects.
Wherever you are and whatever the season, enjoy the beauty of the moment. That’s where you’ll find the magic.
Bright wishes,
Carol & Mark ♡
